Naturmuseum Luzern

Sketching session at the Naturmuseum in Luzern. Tried to do as many sketches as possible. Bird heads were the most challenging. I need to be more careful with the proportions on them.

Toy New Holland T9

Attempted a 3/4 version of the New Holland Tractor. Did not go as well as the previous sketches !

Plush toys Heads

I had planned to do a tractor but my son took it for bed so I drew quickly 4 heads of his favourite toys.

Skulls & Bones

Short stop at zoological museum to do some bones.

Playmobile Tractor 3/4

I did a 3/4 version of the playmobile tractor I did last week. Line quality could be better I suppose but I tried to stay loose.

Ikea Toy Bulldozer

A wooden ikea toy with plastic parts. On this ugly yellow paper. (ran out of white)

Toy bulldozer

Was warming up drawing this bulldozer toy model. Perspective is a bit dodgy but that's the best I can do today. I am taking the week off. Hopefully the quality of practice will improve.

Toy Tractor

This is a tractor with a very peculiar shape, New Holland T9 960. Will do a proper 3/4 later this week.

Congo masks

Congo masks today, from Rietberg. Just layins, no rendering. Head construction drills from the figure drawing class are definitely helped me handled these.

Liberia Statue

Spent half an hour at the Rietberg. Best I sketched was this wooden statue from Liberia.

Shoe

Gestures

Did some gestures in a waiting room, using magazine laying around. Continuing to work on the head construction.

A propos gestures, this stuff is good.

Cows doodling

Doodled (cannot say it's sketching) calves/cows. Didnt do much today.

Water Bug

I started a small insect collection. Here is the first one I draw.

Drawing & Walking

Took a walk at lunch and sketched some stuff. Also did some gestures and head construction on this ugly yellow paper.

Not much energy to complete the homework ;)

Practice

I burnt my hand. Luckily daily practice was already done.

TGIF

I had a tough week.  Just one page of quick mma kicks gestures. Still not very happy with the flow of the gestures, I think there are still too many dangling lines. Tomorrow morning, homework.

Did not do 50 but was close.

Did also a live figure drawing session. Model was pregnant. Had a couple of beer before, was not very sharp.

Wanted to draw a lot today.  Had cleared time for that but stamina evaporated when I sat at my desk.
The only thing I did was this page of poses taken from the sunday newspaper at the cafe.

I think my human figure stuff will look good if I put the right amount of work!
