Quick sketching session at the lake. Drew mostly coots and mute swans. Challenging because they moved a lot and I couldn't get very close to see clearly how their head is constructed. But I find these quick swan sketches to have have more personality than the one I drew from the swan toy!
I'm amazed that you managed to pull off construction from observing moving animals. That is serious dedication. Most people would stop at gesture, maybe indicate shapes. You took your subjects apart and put them back together. That is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dmitri. That's the good thing of drawing from life, it's much easier to understand the construction. The end result is still a bit weak tough, but I have made progress on these two birds. ;)
