I disagree. I think it went very well. First of all, you invested time into observing and drawing, and second, your drawings are well proportioned and read quite well. If you didn't tell me what it was and asked me what I thought, i'd tell you I was looking at a picture of an ostrich.
You know how they say that if you don't like the result, change the approach? If you find something lacking in your image, try freehanding it around basic shapes instead of constructing it inside of them. You should end up with a looser sketch. It will feel like a different style and you might like it more.
Thanks for your comment they are much apreciated! I need to try to work more with gestures when I do the organic stuff. The main problem I had was breaking down the legs, with these plastic toys, it's a major challenge because, you dont see what's going on. I guess I need to study a little bit of anatomy. Will continue to post all the stuff I do, except the line exercises ;)
